Joel & Marissa Abels

Joel & Marissa Abels: 

Joel and Marissa Abels have lived full time in Uganda since September 2019, but have been investing in Uganda since 2013. Joel is the Operations Supervisor of Develop Sustainability. His job includes managing the day to day at the Develop Sustainability site as well as overseeing construction projects. Joel also works on the construction and maintenance of the aquaponics system. Joel oversees all operations on the ground at Develop Sustainability when Brenda and Jason go back to the States to visit family and fundraise. Marissa assists with administrative work (writing newsletters, creating forms, etc.). Together Joel and Marissa are board members for Develop Sustainability and Bethany Christian School.
